Ivana Keser holds a LL.M. inEuropean and European Legal Studies (2010), Institute for European Integration, Europa-Kolleg, University of Hamburg, Germany. She earned B.A. in Political Sciences (2009), Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Zagreb, Croatia. She participated in a one-year program at the Center for Peace Studies, House of the Human Rights, Zagreb. Since 2012 she is a PhD candidate enrolled in the Joint Doctorate in Sociology of Regional and Local Development, University of Zadar, Croatia, and University of Teramo, Italy. Since June 2011 she is employed as a research assistant at the Department for Resource Economics, Environmental Protection and Regional Development, Institute for Development and International Relations (IRMO), on the project: Management of Natural and Human Resources – Regional Development and Environmental Protection. Her research interests include the local and regional development, the sustainable development and the Cohesion Policy. Since 2012 she is an assistant editor of the Croatian International Relations Review (CIRR), the IRMO scientific journal. During the Master Programme she was a DAAD Scholar and an intern at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law, Hamburg. She is a member of professional organizations including the Institute of Public Administration (Zagreb), Croatian department of the European Association for Regional Research (Zagreb) and European Education Forum (Zagreb).
