Ivona Ondelj has obtained the PhD at the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb. The PhD dissertation “Market Freedoms and Services of General Economic Interest in the EU” was supervised by Prof. Siniša Rodin, PhD, who pursues the function of the Judge at the Court of Justice of the EU in Luxembourg. The main research interests encompass the EU Internal Market law, Competition law, Company law and SGEI (public services). Ivona has obtained the LL.M. Eur within the postgraduate study in the area of European Law, provided by the Jean Monnet-Lehrstuhl für das Recht der Europäischen Integration und Rechtsvergleichung unter besonderer Berücksichtigung Mittel- und Osteuropas, Juristische Fakultät, Germany. Ivona has earned her dipl. iur / mag. iur title within the graduate study at the Faculty of Law, Croatia. During her education she was the recipient of three scholarships (Croatian Scholarship Fund, USA; State Scholarship and Scholarship of Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, Croatia). She was awarded the recognition for exceptional success during her study. Ivona has rich practical and work experience. She has worked (lawyer; law trainee; court interpreter) in the area of civil, commercial and labour law. Furthermore, she has worked in the Croatian Ministry of Justice (harmonization with the European law). Ivona has obtained the Bar Exam. She is the Legal Expert in the area of Internal Market and services (European Citizen Action Service / YEA / European Commission).
