Mira Mileusnić Škrtić graduated from the Natural Sciences Faculty in 1983, at the Department for Mathematics (Information Science and Mathematical Statistics). In 2003 Mira Mileusnić Škrtić has obtained the degree of the Master of Science at the postgraduate doctoral study in Social Sciences in the field of Information Sciences, at the Faculty of Organization and Informatics Varaždin, University of Zagreb, Croatia. Škrtić is a PhD candidate at the Faculty of Organization and Informatics, Varaždin. After graduation she worked as technologist, programmer and project-analyst of information systems. Since 1990 Škrtić has been working as advisor for informatics at the Institute for International Relations, Zagreb. She has participated in the Institute’s projects by providing informatical support. In 1997 Škrtić became Head of the Information Technology Centre. In 2005 Škrtić became Head of the Department of Informatics and Statistics. From 2010 Škrtić has been working as the advisor in the Centre for Research Project Support. She is particularly interested in research into the nature of the Internet environment and the flow of process operation, the incorporation of Internet and the integration of its capabilities with existing systems into the work of the institute, as well as project risk management and re-engineering processes. She is fluent in English and uses German and Italian in conversation.
