The August 2018 edition of IRMO Brief analyses the upcoming European Parliament elections in May 2019. This edition’s focus is on the „Spitzenkandidaten“ model for the election of the President of the European Commission. The Brief also gives and overview of the main political groups in the EU, their Lead Candidates and possible outcome of the elections. The author of this issue is Milan Igrutinović, a Research Assistant at the Institute of European Studies in Belgrade.
