Analysis of the climate change impacts, mitigation and adaptation measures on the type and number of jobs in Croatia, as well as working conditions. This includes (i) decreasing number of jobs due to climate change or adaptation measures; (ii)increasing needs for some services due to climate change and adaptation measures and (iii) development of new jobs and innovations. The working conditions will change, especially in occupations requiring working outside and emergencies. Needs for specific knowledge and skills will aslo change.
The direction and size of climate change, its impacts, mitigation and adaptation measures will not be the same in all sectors, regions nor for all workers. This study provides initial estimate of the climate change impacts on labour market and workers in Croatia.
