Maja Janković is an Expert associate in the Department for Resource Economy, Environmental Protection and Regional Development. She graduated in economics, obtained an MBA in Quantitative Finance and an MBA in Energy Economics at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Rijeka, where she is completing her doctoral study in the field of environmental protection and bioeconomy. Since 2021, he has been working at the Institute for Development and International Relations. Before being employed at IRMO she worked in the private and public sector. Her research focuses on sustainable development, bioeconomy, environmental economics, strategic planning and management. She is also dedicated to regional and local development research. She actively participates in international and domestic conferences, seminars and trainings in Croatia and abroad.
