As part of this year’s WeLearn Week by Generali Insurance, on June 5th, Dr Ana-Maria Boromisa, Head of the Department for International Economic and Political Relations PhD, delivered a professional online lecture for employees.
The lecture addressed the following questions:
- What do we know about climate change?
- What can we expect?
- How will climate change impact the quality of life? (job, health, food, water, energy, transportation, leisure activities…)
- What can we do?
- What if we do nothing?
The findings of the Sixth Report of the International Panel on Climate Change were briefly presented, as well as the climate projections for Croatia and the expected effects of climate change on various aspects of life (health, business opportunities, security, migration).
