Job title: Research assistant
Ana Vučemilović-Grgić has been a Research Assistant at the Department of International Economic and Political Relations at the Institute for Development and International Relations (IRMO) since 2024. In 2023, she completed her master’s degree in European Law at Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona. She completed her undergraduate studies in Law with International Relations, graduating with First-Class Honours at the University of Sussex in the United Kingdom in 2021. In 2019, she participated in a student exchange at Seoul National University in South Korea, where her studies focused on topics of political economy.
She is currently a PhD candidate at the Centre for Energy Law and Sustainability at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. Her research focuses on the regulation of support schemes for renewable energy sources in the EU following the 2024 Electricity Market Design Reform. Her research interests include energy law, state aid law, the integration of the EU electricity market, and broader issues of European integration.
