Hrvoje Hrnkaš graduated in 2025 from the Faculty of Political Science, University of Zagreb, with a master’s thesis titled “The Role of Institutions in the Economic Development of European Union Regions.” During his studies, he participated in two international mobility programs – in Ireland (University College Dublin) and Belgium (Université Libre de Bruxelles).
He is currently employed as an Assistant at the Department for European Policies and, since 2025, has been pursuing a PhD in Economics at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Zagreb. His research interests include economic development, European cohesion policy, institutional economics, public sector economics, and regional and local development policies. He speaks English, Spanish, and French fluently.
