At the General Assembly of the European network ENCATC held on December 11, 2025, Ana Žuvela, PhD, a Research Associate from the Department of Culture and Communication at the Institute for Development and International Relations (IRMO), was appointed  as Vice_president to the Board of Directors of that organization. ENCATC (European Network on Cultural Management and Policy) is a leading international network for cultural management and policy, uniting over 160 educational institutions and organisations across 40 European countries and worldwide. ENCATC’s activities are based on four complementary pillars: advocacy for the development and impact of cultural and educational policies; networking; education; and professional and scientific research in cultural management and policy. As part of its work, ENCATC publishes a journal (European Journal of Cultural Management and Policy), regularly organises congresses, and awards prizes for the best research papers in cultural policy, as well as recognises outstanding contributions to the field.
