Damir Demonja, PhD, Scientific advisor with tenure, gave an interview to Hrvatska riječ, a newspaper and publishing institution, a professional institution of Croats in Vojvodina, which was founded by the decree of the Assembly of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina in 2002.
He gave answers to the editor-in-chief, Ms. Zlata Vasiljević, about the possibility of establishing a cultural-tourist route in Vojvodina. He also discussed his decades-long collaboration with professors from the Department of Geography, Tourism and Hotel Management at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Novi Sad, which he successfully carries out as its leader.
In the interview, he reflected on topics from the art history, architecture, and heritage that he researched in Vojvodina together with his colleague, Vladimir Stojanović, PhD, Professor. He placed special emphasis on the themes he has scientifically and professionally researched in his professional work.
He also spoke about his latest book on Paris and the heritage monuments of that city, La joie de Paris: The Joy of Paris – a Treasury of Art. In addition, he described the methods and challenges of scientific research, presented a selection of his scholarly works, and outlined his current and future research and professional activities.
