Dr Senada Šelo Šabić, Scientific Adviser at the Institute for Development and International Relations (IRMO), has been invited to join the international committee responsible for selecting the recipients of the CESPIC Peace Award.
The award is a new initiative launched by the Catholic University “Our Lady of Good Counsel” in Tirana, the European Centre of Peace Science (CESPIC), and Osservatorio Balcani Caucaso Transeuropa, aimed at promoting peace, cooperation and mutual understanding in the region.
Envisioned as a decade-long initiative, the award recognises individuals and organisations that have made sustained contributions to peace, cooperation and solidarity in the Balkans — both in overcoming the legacy of past conflicts and in addressing contemporary challenges.
