Analytical study on approaches to the joint management of cultural infrastructure is based on the findings of the conducted research on two selected examples of joint management of cultural infrastructure (objects, buildings, complexes) that are used for public cultural purposes (libraries, art, cultural and social centers, museums, galleries, etc.). The main criterion in the research, according to which the examples for analysis are selected, refers to the approach and/or management model in which several (public) actors (public cultural institutions, public institutions, public (self) administration, private or civil actors) co-manage the cultural infrastructure. The main goal of the analysis is to gain insights into the constituent, strategic and executive levels of co-management. This includes, among other things, an insight into the profiles of actors who co-manage, the distribution of their roles, responsibilities and rights in co-management processes, how management bodies are defined, how structures and relationships are set up in management processes and management information flows are defined in organizational charts, how they flow into the processes of conceptualization and implementation of programs, financing, infrastructure maintenance, investment and development, and how common goals are defined for the entire infrastructure, taking into account the individual institutional goals of the actors involved. Special focus is placed on monitoring, evaluation and control mechanisms in all aspects of co-management.
