Culture Development Plan of the Split-Dalmatia County for 2025-2030

The project includes the composing of the Culture Development Plan of the Split-Dalmatia County for the period 2025-2030. Project activities include an analysis of the current capacity of cultural institutions in the County, an analysis of the activities of cultural institutions and cultural associations, an analysis of the current state of the culture infrastructure, i.e. the effectiveness of current programs (tenders and public calls) implemented by the County. Based on the results of the analysis, plans will be proposed for improving the cultural infrastructure, connecting and strengthening cultural capacities of local self-government units in the County, as well as proposals for more efficient management of cultural capacities. Additionally, the future relations of the culture policies development will be defined, which include geographical (urban and rural areas) and seasonal aspects of cultural activity (strengthening of the cultural scene during the winter months in the area of Dalmatian ​​Zagora and the islands). The coordination of the project is undertaken by the Center for Sustainable Development through Culture (CORK), in cooperation with experts from the Department for Culture and Communications, i.e. the Department for Resource Economics, Environmental Protection and Regional Development.
