Ana-Maria Boromisa, PhD, took part in the European Energy Research Alliance (EERA) Joint Programme on Energy Systems Integration (JP ESI) Spring Event 2025, which is held from 20 to 23 May 2025 at the Energy Institute Hrvoje Požar (EIHP) in Zagreb, Croatia.
EERA is the largest energy research community in Europe, bringing together more than 250 public research centres and universities from 30 countries. Its Joint Programmes aim to align national and EU research efforts and support the clean energy transition through coordinated, collaborative research.
ERRA JP ESI Spring Event focuses on accelerating the energy and industrial transitions, bringing together researchers, policymakers, and industry representatives to discuss the challenges and opportunities of the energy transformation.
Dr. Boromisa contributed to this event on 21 May during the Research Challenges and Funding Gaps session, alongside representatives from academia and European research institutions. The session focused on identifying critical research needs and addressing funding constraints for advancing energy systems integration.
More information about the event is available on the official EERA JP ESI event page.
