The European Sociological Association’s (ESA) Research network 18: Sociology of Communications and Media Research conference will be held at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (Ivana Lučića 3) betwen the 6th and 8th of September. The conference under the title Communication, Capitalism and Social Change: Policy, Practice, Praxis is co-organized by the Croatian Sociological Association, Institute for Development and International Relations and the Department for Sociology, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb. During the conference, keynote lectures will be held by Natalie Fenton (Goldsmiths, UK), Vincent Mosco (Queen’s, Canada and Fudan, China) and Roy Panagiotopoulou (University of Athens, Greece). One plenary session and multiple parallel sessions will also be held.
