The Institute for Development and International Relations, Zagreb, under Article 51 of its Statute, Class: 007-02/23-01/01, Registration number: 251-768-08-23-4, dated 16 September 2023, and Article 40 of the Act on Higher Education and Scientific Activity (Official Gazette: 119/2022) announces a
VACANCY
for a associate position of Assistant at the BORE project – Centre for the Sustainable Development through Department for Resource Economics, Environmental Protection and Regional Development – one researcher (m/f).
A contract will be signed for a fixed term until the return of an absent employee with the possibility of contracting a 6-month trial period.
Requirements:
In addition to the general criteria for establishing an employment relationship from Article 39, paragraphs 4 and 6 of the Act on Higher Education and Scientific Activity, applicants need to meet the following critearia:
- completed university graduate studies in the scientific area of humanities, field of history;
- fulfilled additional criteria prescribed by the Ordinance on additional criteria for the selection of junior researchers, the appointment of mentors and the evaluation of the work of junior researchers and mentors, Class: 007-02/23-01/06, Registration number: 251-768-08-23-1, dated 27 December 2023. - excellent command of the Croatian and English language.
Applicants need to enclose:
- written application containing the applicant’s personal data (name and surname, residential address, telephone number and e-mail address for contact, and the name of the position for which the application is being submitted);
- curriculum vitae;
- proof of required academic degree (copy of diploma, etc.). The applicant who obtained a higher education qualification abroad must provide a certificate of evaluation of the foreign higher education qualification issued by the Agency for Science and Higher Education or proof of the initiation of the procedure of evaluation of the foreign higher education qualification from the Agency for Science and Higher Education;
- proof of proficiency in English (certificates, transcript of records, works published in the foreign language, etc.);
- proof of fulfilment of additional criteria prescribed by the Ordinance on additional criteria for the selection of junior researchers, the appointment of mentors and the evaluation of the work of junior researchers and mentors.
The employer will carry out a selection procedure which will especially evaluate experiences in working on EU projects.
