Ivana Biondic obtained her Master’s Degree in Finance in 2017 from the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Zagreb. Throughout her Master’s studies, she took part in the ERASMUS+ program at Chemnitz Technical University in Germany for one semester. Currently employed as a Research Assistant in the Department for European Integrations, she embarked on her PhD in Economics in October 2019 as part of a joint program between the University of Innsbruck and the University of Linz in Austria. Her research focuses on the impact of EU policies on the national public policies of Member States and countries involved in the enlargement process, specifically emphasising Cohesion Policy. Ivana is also committed to investigating regional and local development. Actively engaging in numerous international and domestic conferences, seminars, and education programs in Croatia and abroad, aligned with her research interests, she particularly emphasises applied econometrics and panel analysis. She is fluent in English and German.
