Krševan Antun Dujmović, M.Sc., Expert Advisor at the Department for European Policies of IRMO participated at the Final Conference titled “Shaping a Sustainable Security Architecture for Europe.”
The workshop was organized by the UK-based think tank BASIC in association with the UK based network of organizations, academics and activists ‘Rethinking Security’ in Vienna, Austria, on 26th November 2025.
The one-day conference was held within the project titled “Realizing a Sustainable Security Architecture in Europe”, and gathered project and security experts and government officials from across Europe to discuss a sustainable security architecture for Europe.
Over the last two years BASIC has gathered government officials and experts in five regional workshops to discuss the requirements of a sustainable security architecture in Europe, funded by Polden-Puckham Charitable Foundation.
The Final Conference on Shaping a Sustainable Security Architecture for Europe convened the experts and government officials who participated in BASIC’s five regional workshops to discuss findings around a sustainable security architecture for Europe.
Prior to the conference, the report ‘The Evolving European Security Architecture: Paths to a Sustainable Future’ was published. The conference consisted of a presentation of the report, followed by moderated discussions.
