On October 21, 2025, Ivana Keser, a researcher from the Institute for Development and International Relations (IRMO), presented the Final Report on the interim evaluation of the Požega-Slavonia County Development Plan 2021-2027. The report was formally presented before the Evaluation Committee.

The primary objective of the IRMO evaluation team was to ascertain the degree of attainment for the established development priorities, specific objectives, measures, and results, while concurrently assessing the prospects for their sustainable implementation. In instances where performance was below expectations, the evaluation sought to identify the probable causes and to propose alternative measures for improvement.

Furthermore, the evaluation determined whether the achieved results were attained in a cost-effective manner and how greater economic efficiency might be secured in the future. The comprehensive process also involved consulting key stakeholders to gather their perspectives on the strategic planning process and its outcomes.

Based on the aggregate findings of the evaluation, a set of recommendations was formulated. These recommendations are applicable to the formulation of new or the revision of existing development plans, thereby contributing to future planning and evidence-based decision-making within the relevant public policy domain of Požega-Slavonia County.
