The IRMO team, consisting of Dr. Sanja Maleković, Dr. Sanja Tišma, and Dr. Ivana Keser, participated in the session of the Social Welfare Council of Požega-Slavonia County held on November 22, 2024, in Požega. Dr. Ivana Keser, project leader for the development of the Social Plan of Požega-Slavonia County for the 2025 – 2027 period, presented the process of drafting the Social Plan and the content of the training designed for members of the Social Welfare Council and County employees engaged in social welfare tasks.

The Social Plan will encompass an analysis of capacities, the availability of social service providers, an assessment of needs, and specific developmental goals for both institutional and non-institutional social services, with particular emphasis on services for groups at greater risk of social exclusion. The plan is being developed in accordance with the unified needs assessment methodology prescribed by the Regulation on the Unified Methodology for Needs Assessment (Official Gazette, No. 90/23).

The creation of a Social Plan based on a needs assessment is essential for making informed decisions about prioritizing resource allocation to address identified needs within the county. The adoption of the Social Plan is a prerequisite for further access to ESF+ funding, as all future projects must align with the adopted Social Plan.
