The Institute for Development and International Relations, Zagreb, under Article 51 of its Statute, Class: 007-02/23-01/01, Registration number: 251-768-08-23-4, dated 16 September 2023, announces a
VACANCY
for a fixed-term associate position of Junior Researcher at the Department of Culture and Communication – one researcher (m/f) until the return of an employee from parental leave.
Requirements:
In addition to the general criteria for establishing an employment relationship from Article 39, paragraphs 4 and 6 of the Act on Higher Education and Scientific Activity, applicants need to meet the following:
- completed university graduate studies in the area of social sciences, field of sociology, i.e. higher education in accordance with the regulations that were in force before the entry into force of the Act on Scientific Activities and Higher Education;
- fulfilled additional criteria prescribed by the Ordinance on additional criteria for the selection of junior researchers, the appointment of mentors and the evaluation of the work of junior researchers and mentors, Class: 007-02/23-01/06, Registration number: 251-768-08-23-1, dated 27 December 2023. - excellent command of the Croatian and English language.
Applicants need to enclose:
- written application;
- curriculum vitae (valid e-mail address, general information, schooling history, acquired professional qualification and academic degree);
- proof of required academic degree (copy of diploma, etc.);
- proof of fulfilment of additional criteria prescribed by the Ordinance on additional criteria for the selection of junior researchers, the appointment of mentors and the evaluation of the work of junior researchers and mentors, Class: 007-02/23-01/06, Registration number: 251-768-08-23-1 dated 27 December 2023;
- proof of proficiency in English (certificates, transcript of records, works published in the foreign language, etc.);
A 6-month probationary period may be stipulated for the position.
