The Institute for Development and International Relations, the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia, and the Hanns Seidel Foundation jointly organised the presentation of the publication “Glossary of the European Union Common Security and Defence Policy (EU CSDP).” The event was held on 19 December 2025 at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia, Trg Nikole Šubića Zrinskog 7–8, Zagreb, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

The publication was written by Dr Sandro Knezović (Institute for Development and International Relations). The glossary provides a clear, systematic, and accessible explanation of key concepts, processes, and instruments of security and defence cooperation within the European Union. It is intended for experts, policymakers, researchers, students, journalists, and all those who professionally or personally engage with issues related to European security and defence. The glossary’s particular value lies in its contribution to navigating the complex CSDP framework and enhancing understanding of the European Union’s role in the contemporary security environment.

The event was attended by numerous representatives of the state administration, the academic community, the media, and civil society organizations.
