Highlighting the importance of the concept of mediation, which leads to a change of perspectives, a question was raised about the role of the European Union in a time when the number of conflicts is increasing. The fundamental mandate of the European Union is to preserve peace and strengthen international security. Therefore, it is of great importance that the EU, faced with new challenges, creates policy foundations to strengthen its mediation role.
