Within the panel, it was emphasized that the process of European integration continues to serve as a key framework for fostering democratic reforms and strengthening institutional resilience. Particular attention was given to current geopolitical circumstances that further influence integration processes, as well as the importance of the consistent implementation of reforms in the areas of the rule of law, democratization, and good neighbourly relations as preconditions for further progress towards EU membership.
