At the conference “Reshaping Europe in an Age of Uncertainty”, which was held on 30 and 31 October in Nicosia ahead of the start of the Cypriot presidency of the Council of the EU, Dr. Hrvoje Butković from the Department of European Policies participated in capacity as the Croatian delegate to the Trans European Policy Studies Association (TEPSA) from Brussels.

The conference was jointly organized by TEPSA, the Cyprus Center for European and International Affairs of the University of Nicosia, and the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs (NUPI). The meeting discussed the goals and priorities of the upcoming Cypriot presidency, as well as the broader challenges facing the EU in the areas of security, energy, migration, enlargement, etc.

On the sidelines of the conference, a forum was held on the possibilities of resolving the division of Cyprus between the Greek and Turkish Cypriot communities.
