On Monday, 23 March 2026, the Institute for Development and International Relations hosted Prof. Dr. Beata Piskorska, Vice-Rector at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin and Prof. Dr. Agnieszka Orzelska-Stączek from the Institute of Political Studies at the Polish Academy of Sciences, who also serves as a project leader at the Three Seas Initiative Research Center. The meeting laid the foundations for future cooperation.
The Institute’s Director, Dr. Jakša Puljiz, presented the Institute’s scope of work and its achievements in the implementation and management of European projects, including Horizon programmes. Research Advisor at IRMO, Dr. Sandro Knezović, reflected on the Institute’s activities related to the Three Seas Initiative. The meeting explored opportunities for further cooperation, particularly through joint project applications and the organisation of conferences and expert events dedicated to the Three Seas Initiative. Special emphasis was placed on the Three Seas University Network, which aims to strengthen international cooperation among universities and to foster the development and dissemination of knowledge. The meeting confirmed a mutual interest in strengthening cooperation and opened the way for concrete joint initiatives in the coming period.
