As part of the planned activities within the project “European perspectives: French and Croatian partnership for promoting European Integration” IMO together with the French Embassy in Croatia and other partners organized a public lecture “The European Citizens’ Initiative”. The lecture was held by Mr. Cédric Bloquet, General Director of the association CIDEM (Civisme et démocratie) and expert at the French Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, European Commission and member of the European Civic Forum. Lecture addressed topics of active and responsible citizenship, civic engagement and democracy in the European context. The lecture was held on Thursday, 9 June at 14. 30 at the premises of the EU Info Centre of the Delegation of the European Union in Croatia, Trg žrtava fašizma 6, Zagreb. Working languages of the event were French and Croatian with consecutive translation provided throughout its duration.
