Third International Congress on Rural Tourism, “Rural tourism – sustainable development driver”, will be held from May 23 to May 26, 2012 in Osijek. The Congress will bring together around 300 participants, and it will be presented 140 scientific papers. The Congress main thematic units are: “Heritage and Tradition in Tourism”, “Water and River Tourism “, “Creating and Distributing Rural Tourism Products”, “Regional Development, Financing and International Cooperation” and “Special Forms of Rural Tourism”. Institute for International Relations, IMO, is one of the co-organizers of the Congress, its director, Sanja Tišma, PhD is a member of Scientific and Organizing Committee, and Damir Demonja, PhD is President of Scientific Committee of the Congress, and a member of Scientific and Organizing Committee.
