The Programme for Cultural Development of the City of Zagreb 2024-2030 has been publicly presented at the Centre for Culture Trešnjevka on Tuesday, 19th September 2023. This ambitious and progressive local cultural policy document was introduced to the audience by the Deputy Mayor of the City of Zagreb, Daniela Dolenec, followed by Ana Žuvela from the Institute for Development and International Relations, a scientific institution that was commissioned to prepare and facilitate the process of creating the policy document, and Emina Višnić, the City of Zagreb’s Head of Department of Culture and Civil Society. More than 50 cultural workers participated in making the City of Zagreb’s cultural policy, providing informed and inclusive strategic goals and priority agendas for the development of local culture.
