At the Croatian Chamber of Trades and Crafts IRMO’s Director, Sanja Tišma today signed a contract within the framework of the call for the allocation of nonrefundable funds for Education for Entrepreneurship and Crafts.
IRMO received the nonrefundable funds for the project entitled Promotion of Entrepreneurship and Crafts in the Forest and Wood Sector, which it will conduct in the course of the coming twelve months in partnership with the Croatian Chamber of Forest and Wood Technology Engineers. The project has a budget of 295.220,84 kn, which will be financed through European funds within the Human Resources Development Programme.
The project will conduct campaigns in 14 counties and the City of Zagreb. The campaigns entitled “Promotion of Entrepeneurship, Life-Long Learning and New Possibilities for the Forest and Wood Sector”, “Best Business Plan by Students of Forest and Woodcraft Schools”, and “Women Entrepreneurs in the Forest and Wood Sector” will promote an entrepreneurial culture and the development of a positive attitude towards life-long learning and the strengthening of competitiveness and investments from EU funds.
The ceremony was attended by Mirando Mrsić, the Minister of Work and the Pension Insurance, by Gordan Maras, the Minister of Entrepreneurship and Crafts, and by Ankica Paun Jarallah, the Director of the Croatian Employment Office.
