Central and Eastern European International Studies Association (CEEISA) and International Studies Association (ISA)

held a joint international conference entitled ‘Knowing the global-local: Imagining pasts, debating futures’. The conference took part in Rijeka from June 18th to 21st gathering more than 750 scholars. IRMO’s researcher Senada ŠeloŠabić, PhD chaired a session titled ‘Seeking epistemic justice – the politics of defiance of the silenced voices across Global Souths and Easts off and within European geographies’. The session gathered research produced through the ENDURE project – Inequalities, Community Resilience, and New Modalities of Governance in a Post-Pandemic World, funded by the Croatian Science Foundation.

Emina Bužinkić, PhD presented collaborative research with Šelo Šabić, PhD titled ‘The politics of (de)mobilization amid multiple pandemics’.
