On September 22nd a high level delegation of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences visited the Institute for Development and International Relations. Representatives of the two institutions presented their fields of work and exchanged ideas on possible cooperation in the future. There was also an engaging discussion on current political and economic issues, with a special emphasis on the potentials of Chinese-European collaboration.

From the Chinese side the meeting was attended by Prof. Wang Weiguang, President of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), Prof. Huang Ping, Director General of the Institute of European Studies at CASS, Wang Lei, PhD, Director General of the International Cooperation Bureau, CASS, Prof. Zhang Ping, Deputy Director General of the Institute of Economics, CASS, Mr. Wu Bolong, Director of the European Division of the International Cooperation Bureau, CASS, and Mr. Sun Zhaoyang, Program officer of the General Office, CASS.

IRMO was represented by  Boris Havel, PhD, President of the Management Council, Ana-Maria Boromisa, PhD, President of the Scientific Council and Head of the Department for International Economic and Political Relations, Višnja Samardžija, PhD, Head of the Department for European Integration, Senada Šelo-Šabić, PhD, Research Associate in the Department for International Economic and Political Relations,  Krešimir Jurlin, PhD, Research Associate in the Department for International Economic and Political Relations and Janko Bekić, PhD.
