In the organization of the Nova Revija Institute of Humanist Studies (INR) from Ljubljana and in cooperation with the Centre for Democracy and Technology, Ljubljana, Taiwan Foundation for Democracy, Institute for European and Globalization Studies from Zagreb and the Slovenia Taiwan Friendship Association the conference “Development of democracy” has been held in Zagreb on the 27-29 April 2015. The conference discussed development of democracy and its impact on the various regions (Danube Region, Taiwan). The event gathered some 30 participants from the Danube Region and Taiwan. Hrvoje Butković, PhD and VišnjaSamrdžija, PhD presented a paper on the fight against corruption in Croatia and in the Republic of Moldova.
