We kindly invite you to join us at the forum “The impact of EU Membership on the Functioning of the Judiciary and Public Administration of the Republic of Croatia” which will be held on October 17, 2024, starting at 12:00 p.m. at the premises of the Representation of the European Commission in the Republic of Croatia, Cesarčeva 4 in Zagreb.

The debate will be organized in two panels: the first one will consider how Croatia’s membership in the European Union affected the judicial system of the country and contributed to its efficiency, transparency and independence; the second one will be dedicated to the achievements and challenges faced by the Croatian public administration in its efforts to adhere to democratic standards and European principles of public administration.

The expected duration of each panel is an hour, which includes time for questions from the audience.

This is the second forum in the series of events under the common title “Together for a Better EU – Let’s Talk” organized by the European Documentation Centre of the Institute for Development and International Relations, the European Documentation Centre of the Faculty of Law in Zagreb and the European Documentation Centre of the Faculty of Economics in Split. The events are organized with the financial support of the European Commission.

The expected language of the forum is Croatian, with no translation.
