Krševan Antun Dujmović, M.Sc., participated at the International Forum  entitled “COP29 and Green Vision for Azerbaijan” held in Baku, Azerbaijan from 22nd till 26th April 2024.

International participants from 30 countries attended the Forum,  co-organized by ADA University and the Center of Analysis of International Relations. During the Forum the participants held a discussion with President of Azerbaijan H.E. Ilham Aliyev on Azerbaijan’s preparations for the United Nations Climate Change Conference COP29, that will be held in Baku from 11th till 22ndNovember 2024. Participants of the Forum also discussed the situation in the South Caucasus, and the efforts of the Azerbaijani government to rebuild the Karabakh region.

Participants have also visited the town of Lachin and the surrounding region, which was occupied by Armenian forces until the Second Karabakh War. In 2020 districts in and around Karabakh region were liberated by Azerbaijani Armed Forces. During the stay in Lachin, the participants witnessed first-hand the efforts of the Azerbaijani government to rebuilt Karabakh and repatriate internally displaced persons.

During his stay in Baku, M.Sc. Krševan Antun Dujmović also met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia in Azerbaijan, H.E. Branko Zebić, with whom he discussed Azerbaijan’s preparations for COP29.
