The Institute for Development and International Relations, the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia and the Hanns Seidel Foundation are organising the presentation of the publication “Glossary of the European Union Common Security and Defence Policy (EU CSDP).” The event will take place on 19 December 2025 at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia, Trg Nikole Šubića Zrinskog 7–8, 10000 Zagreb, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
The publication was written by Dr Sandro Knezović (The Institute for Development and International Relations), and the glossary provides a clear, systematic, and accessible explanation of key concepts, processes, and instruments of security and defence cooperation within the European Union. It is intended for experts, policymakers, researchers, students, journalists, and all those who professionally or personally engage with issues related to European security and defence. The glossary’s particular value lies in its ability to facilitate understanding of the complex CSDP framework and to deepen comprehension of the European Union’s role in the contemporary security environment.
The presentation will also be attended by the State Secretary for Europe at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia, Andreja Metelko-Zgombić, author of the foreword to the publication.
We invite all interested participants to join us.
