WB2EU Summer School took place from 17 – 22 September 2023 at Moise Palace of the University of Rijeka in Cres, Croatia. The summer school is a flagship event co-organized by Senada Šelo Šabić from IRMO (Zagreb), Paul Schmidt from ÖGFE (Vienna) and Vedran Džihić from oiip (Vienna). . The European Parliament in Croatia, the French Embassy in Croatia and the Royal Elcano Institute from Spain supported the 2023 edition of the Summer School.

The aim of the summer school is to support a new generation of young European experts, scholars, activists and engaged citizens in their work for a new European togetherness. This year, students came from Austria, Albania, Spain, Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, North Macedonia, Kosovo, Romania, France, Italy, Germany and Hungary. Researchers and activists, starting from those who participated in the first edition of the summer school in 2022, organized in the framework of the WB2EU project, will form a vibrant new network of enthusiastic young people and leaders able to meet political challenges, deepen the dialogue with decision-makers and contribute to regaining a new European and democratic momentum.
