On 16 October 2025, at the WWF-Adria premises in Zagreb, Dr. Marina Funduk presented the result D.3.1.2 Comparative analysis of the policy environment, of the RESTORIVER project. The RESTORIVER project (Restoration of urban/suburban riverbanks) aims to improve the climate change adaptation capacities of river and coastal areas by harmonizing water management policies at the national and regional levels, as well as climate change adaptation and flood protection with local interventions. IRMO analysed 14 documents, 6 local, 7 national and one international policy document, and presented a gap analysis and a harmonization analysis of documents compliance with “nature-based solutions”(NbS) and “natural water retention measures” (NWRM).
