DIKTAS II – Implementation of the Strategic Action Program (SAP) of the Dinaric karts aquifer system: Improving groundwater governance and sustainability of related ecosystems

The second phase of the DIKTAS project (Protection and sustainable use of Karst Aquifer Systems) aims to implement the Strategic Action Program (SAP) in transboundary karst aquifers. The goal of SAP is to improve groundwater management and the sustainability of associated ecosystems. It is a regional project that is implemented in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Croatia , and it is financed by UNDP and GEF, and implemented by UNESCO. IRMO participates in two project groups, one is Communication and information, and the other is Gender issues in water sector. All project activities related to communication and information as well as gender issues in the water sector in Croatia will be implemented by IRMO.
