Local Cultural Strategy Development for the City of Dubrovnik

The main goal of the project is the analysis of the situation with regard to the existing legislation, the results of the studies that have been collected or are in progress on the cultural resources of the City of Dubrovnik, the stakeholders in the City and its wider surroundings, and in cooperation with the working group of the City of Dubrovnik determine the vision and mission for the cultural strategy of the City, define the key development priorities in the forthcoming mid-term and prepare clear action plans. In the current progress of the project the following activities were implemented: analysis of the current situation in the cultural sector of the City of Dubrovnik; analysis, preparation and development of documentation for the establishment of cultural councils of the City of Dubrovnik; analysis, preparation and development of materials for urban revitalisation project of the architectural heritage of the complex Lazareti; consultancy on cultural planning projects in the City of Dubrovnik, in the planning of budget allocations for the cultural sector of the City of Dubrovnik, in directing and optimizing communication between local government and the local cultural sector and the Ministry of Culture; analysis, preparation and drafting of plans for economic use of monumental building Revelin (ongoing ), as well as many others.
