In the article „The Impact of NATO“ Dr. Knezović analyses the role of NATO as an external factor of resilience in the Western Balkans against the destabilizing impact of other increasingly assertive geopolitical players in the region. The challenges to security are analyzed, in specific countries and region as a whole, but also the mechanisms at NATO’s disposal for facing these challenges. Furthermore, specific recommendations for building the security and resilience in the Western Balkans region are given.
