Project duration: 01/01/2023 – 31/12/2027

Client: Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Croatia

The coordinator of the project: Jakša Puljiz, PhD

The scientific project EUROIMPACT covers research aimed at investigating the processes by which the policies of the European Union impact the economic, political, and social development of the Republic of Croatia. The Cohesion policy is the most important investment policy of the European Union, which significantly influences the socio-economic development of member states, particularly those less developed. In addition to direct contribution to strengthening the investment potential of member states, its impact will also be evident in changes to investment policies regarding planning, implementation, and evaluation of investments, as well as through changes in the investment environment as a result of a number of conditions that Cohesion policy itself brings. Within the project, researchers will primarily focus on two areas: the impact of EU Cohesion policy on member states and the formation of national public policies with a focus on the Republic of Croatia; and the impact of EU membership and technological changes on the development of industrial relations in Croatia. The project also considers the effects of transformational processes at the institutional level that have occurred as a result of membership in the European Union.
