We are pleased to invite you to the round table discussion Transatlantic Community at a Crossroads, 70 Years of NATO – 10 Years of Croatia in NATO” which will take place on 7th May 2019 in Zagreb in Hotel Westin, Izidora Kršnjavog 1, Zagreb. The Institute for Development and International Relations in Zagreb and Zagreb Office of the Hanns Seidel Foundation are actively taking part in the debate about contemporary political and security environment. Contemporary international relations carry numerous challenges and a significant amount of unpredictability. This environment affects not only the states, as the main actors in international arena, but also alliances and communities. One of the best examples of a security community in the present international arena is still the transatlantic community. The round table discussion brings together representatives of the diplomatic community, state administration, the academia, non-governmental and international organisations to discuss the challenges and constraints in global complex relations.
