IRMO researchers Hrvoje Butković, PhD and Senada Šelo Šabić, PhD published a new scientific article entitled “The challenges of Euroscepticism in Croatia: ten years after EU accession” in the journalOn-line Journal Modelling the New Europe (OJMNE)”.

The article deals with the issue of Euroscepticism in Croatia after its accession to the European Union in 2013. The central part of the article analyses the general scepticism towards European integration in public opinion surveys and by Croatian political parties. A separate part of the article is devoted to the analysis of the Euroscepticism of elites and the public towards certain EU policies: monetary policy (membership in the eurozone), enlargement policy, common security and defence policy, and the policy of implementing the rule of law.
