Nevenka Čučković, PhD, (IRMO) and Valentina Vučković, PhD, (EFZG) published an article The Effects of EU R&I Funding on SME Innovation and Business Performance in New EU Member States: Firm-Level Evidence in international academic journal Economic Annals that is indexed in SCOPUS. The article brings an econometric analyses of the effects of EU research and innovation funding on business performance and innovation of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the new EU member states. The special focus of the work is to identify the impact of the use of the Horizon 2020 program funding. The article is based on the research conducted within the project “Investigating the Impact of the Innovation Union (I3U)” financed by Horizon 2020.
