In December 2014 the Croatian Forests conducted a survey among its employees on the interest to work on the preparation and implementation of European projects. There have about a hundred of interested employees of different knowledge and skills employed in various management and professional positions.
The aim of this project was to carry out the evaluation of competence of interested employees to work on the EU project and prepare a program of their education.

The willingness of interested employees to work on the preparation and implementation of projects financed by the European Union was estimated, which was implemented on 3 levels:

    • Analysis of the biographies of employees
    • Written and oral examination of English
    •  Motivational interview.

The employees who are willing to become the members of the EU team were identified, as well as employees who are motivated and have excellent foundations but require additional training and employees that need further education and guidance for future challenges.
