Methodology for self-assessment of the capacity of regional coordinators for strategic planning i development management

The goal of the project is the development of a tool for self-assessment of the ability of regions/regional coordinators to perform the tasks prescribed by the Law on the System of Strategic Planning and Development Management of the Republic of Croatia and the Decree on Guidelines for the Preparation of Strategic Planning Acts of National Significance and of Significance for Local and Regional Units in order to determine priority areas for strengthening capacity for strategic planning and development management at the regional (county) level.
Project implementation includes:
• analysis of the relevant legislation
• research of the best international practice in the methodology of self-assessment of the capacity of strategic planning and development management
• elaboration of methodology for capacity self-assessment
• preparation of questionnaire for self-assessment of capacity
• processing and presentation of research results.
• delivery of the final report to the Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds, which will contain the developed self-assessment methodology, the self-assessment questionnaire and all the results obtained by completing the self-assessment questionnaire in Croatian and English.
