The article analyses the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the operation of Global Value Chains (GVC) as well as on the existing long-term trends of their re-configuration that started after the global financial crisis. The authors in particular focus on exploring how these processes affected the participation of Croatian exporting enterprises. When estimating these effects for Croatia, the article brings econometric analyses of the World Bank Enterprise Survey data.
