A panel discussion titled „Croatian Challenges of Preparing  and Implementing EU Projects”, was held on Thursday, December, 10th 2015, at the Center for Postgraduate Studies of the University of Zagreb. The event was organized by prof. Gojko Bežovan, and Sanja Maleković in the framework of the Interdisciplinary University Postgraduate Programme “Preparation and implementation of EU projects“. Along with the Faculty of Law, the partners in the implementation of the Post graduate programme are the Faculty of Economics, the Faculty of Civil Engineering, the Faculty of Agriculture and the Institute for Development and International Relations (IRMO) in Zagreb. The panel speakers were two recognized experts, Ivana Maletić, MEP,  and Jakša Puljiz, PhD, Deputy Minister of Regional Development and EU Funds, now in the interim government, who spoke about the achievements in the pre-accession funds and the challenges for  Croatia in the new programming period 2014 – 2020. Prof. Gojko Bežovan and Sanja Tišma, Director of IRMO,  gave an introductory word prior to the panel presentations which were followed by a discussion of the participating students, professors and experts.
